Sweet Basil CARINARA

We came across Carinara in the midwest and were so grateful to find it online! Finding a Sweet Basil option was just a bonus - and it did not disappoint!

I was nervous about the shipping because of the way some delivery drivers toss our packages around, but the jars were packed so carefully and they all made it without a scratch.

I've been a food professional for over 40 years and this is the best pasta sauce I have ever tasted! Everyone we have told about Carinara and have tried this product love it and want more of it.
I have given it to my personal trainer, who is very particular and knowledgeable about food products and he loves Carinara. First thing he checks are the ingredients and nutritionals (they pass his discerning review for health). His wife and family love Carinara! His clients have tried and love it... Everyone loves it!

Don't think of this as a Carrot Pasta sauce alternative to tomato based pasta sauces. Think of this as a high end pasta sauce made with unique ingredients from local growers. If this were to be listed on a restaurant menu, people would come back for this acclaimed pasta sauce flavor. I like to mix in some cooked chicken or some chicken sausage and serve it over pasta to elevate my dinner. A little fresh chopped parsley or chiffonade basil and you have a 5 Star dish! I 've also recently changed my favorite from Original to Sweet Basil, although they are all great: You cannot go wrong with any flavor.

We recently returned from the Des Moines Farmers Markets and I had the chance to talk with Jacque, one of the founders of Carinara. I was excited to tell her how all of our friends love Carinara. Unfortunately, we live in the Chicagoland area and Carinara is not available in any retail location. So whenever we are at the Des Moines Farmers Market (Best Farmers Market in the Country!), we stock up on plenty of Carinara for ourselves and all of our friends! It is always a pleasure to talk to the founders of a company that are passionate about their company, products and vision. Jacque shared with me that they are in over 180 retail locations (unfortunately, none in the Chicagoland area). This is absolutely the BEST tomato free pasta sauce on the market! I've tried every single one of them and this one is the star! It needs nothing , no added seasoning. I just added ground beef and it tasted just like regular marinara sauce. How do they do that?? Also the price is more reasonable than the rest. Makes following an AIP diet much more pleasant. Will definitely buy more 😊

We initially bought this to help with GI sensitivity to the acidity in tomatoes, and it worked wonderfully. Now, we subscribe for regular deliveries simply because it tastes amazing! It’s healthy, delicious, and easy on the stomach. Highly recommend!
